where your-website.com is the domain of your website. You should then see the login screen.

Enter your username and password (case-sensitive) and click the ‘Log In’ button. If you forgot your password you can use the ‘Lost your password?’ link and fill out the form to have a temporary password emailed to you.

Once logged in, you will be presented with the WordPress Admin Area.

The WordPress Admin Area gives you access to manage certain aspects of your website including Pages, Posts (aka blog entries), Menus, Media, Plugins and more. Certain items may be shown or hidden from the admin menu based on the role that has been assigned to your username. If you are a JellyFlea customer, you will also have a Video Tutorials section you can use to learn about each aspect of WordPress.

Viewing Public Website

To toggle between the public and admin sides of your website, click on the ‘Your Website’ button in the upper-left corner where ‘Your Website’ is the name of your website.

A Note About Websites Under Development

If your website is under development, a ‘Coming Soon’ plugin may be active, which hides the website from the public. Logging in to WordPress and then viewing your website overrides this plugin, allowing you to see the website as it is being constructed. If your website is under construction, please refrain from editing the website until after your website has launched. In the meantime you can view the Video Tutorials section to start learning about WordPress.
